The world revered people like you once and celebrated your likeness in their old folklore and fairytales. Now the magic in your body makes you a threat to the common man. Your only choices are to try and hide your unstable powers, or be sent to the Garden.​

It takes place in an alternate present where magic is reviled by society at large following a gruesome incident that has gone unanswered for. Those who possess powers, referred to as occults, are sent to a classified location known as the Garden of Eden— A hostile forest fed by a powerful magical plane. In other terms: A death sentence.
